Coral Eye Marine Outpost is a unique boutique dive resort and marine research center located on Bangka Island, North Sulawesi, Indonesia, in the heart of the Coral Triangle—one of the world's richest marine biodiversity hotspots. Originally established as a collaborative marine research outpost, it has evolved into an eco-friendly resort where marine scientists, divers, photographers, and travelers come together to experience and help protect the underwater world.
The resort features 19 accommodations, including 15 private villas (Beach, Garden, and Pool Villas) and 4 Superior Rooms located within the iconic Marine Outpost building. The property is thoughtfully designed with sustainable architecture that blends seamlessly into the tropical jungle and pristine beachfront surroundings while providing modern comfort.
Guests enjoy a full range of amenities including a beachfront restaurant, lounge bar, infinity swimming pool, spa and wellness services, private white-sand beach, and a professional PADI dive center offering access to more than 50 world-class dive sites. Additional activities include snorkeling, kayaking, paddleboarding, mangrove excursions, and marine conservation programs. The Marine Outpost itself serves as the resort's intellectual hub, featuring a library, boutique, coworking spaces, lecture facilities, and research programs that bring together scientists and conservationists from around the world.
